You will work on diverse projects, resolve malfunctions, and ensure that installations are correctly constructed and tested. About the position
As a Data Technician, you are responsible for constructing, installing, and terminating data networks for our clients. You will work on a wide range of projects, from realizing complete network cabling to placing and connecting patch cabinets, fiber optic connections, and Wi-Fi infrastructures.
No two days are the same. You will work independently or together with colleagues at various locations in the Netherlands and serve as a vital link in delivering reliable network solutions.
What will you be doing?
- Constructing and installing copper and fiber optic cabling
- Mounting and finishing data cabling systems
- Placing, connecting, and terminating patch cabinets and patch panels
- Performing measurements and certifications of networks
- Resolving malfunctions and performing maintenance work
- Ensuring a tidy workplace and correct project administration
You are a perfect fit if you…
- Have completed an MBO education, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Telecom
- Have experience as a data or network technician, or are motivated to learn the trade further
- Possess a valid category B driver’s license
- Possess a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one
- Are flexible and enjoy working at various locations throughout the Netherlands
- Have technical insight, work accurately, and have a hands-on mentality
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Are customer-oriented and professional in appearance
- Have a good command of the Dutch language
